When moving about in a club.
Moving around taking pictures in a night/dance club has its own challenges. Its often dark, and you need a good dependable flash. But even more difficult is that you don't always have the flexibility to get "the right angle" while taking the shot. You may find yourself just a few feet from your subject and no room to move back. For these reasons I like to have a good zoom lens short enough to allow me to get as much of the person(s) in the photograph as possible. A good strong flash aimed at the ceiling with a reflector attached to fill in from the front will soften the light and help to minimize harsh light and shadows from your photograph.
